The Southern Baptist Convention's (SBC) Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force ends its work without publishing a database of abusers, marking the second time a proposed database for abusive pastors has been derailed. The task force faced denominal apathy, legal concerns, and a desire to protect donations, resulting in a lack of funding and hindrances to the group's work. To date, no names are listed on the "Ministry Check" website designed to track abusive pastors.
