Green Thumb Industries explores merging with Boston Beer, potentially listing on a major U.S. exchange.
Cannabis producer Green Thumb Industries has reportedly expressed interest in merging with US-based brewer Boston Beer, according to a letter seen by Reuters. Green Thumb CEO Ben Kovler said in the letter to Boston Beer founder Jim Koch that a combination would allow his company, currently listed in Canada, to also be listed on a major U.S. exchange. Boston Beer declined to comment when contacted by Reuters.
