A police officer died and another was injured in a shooting at the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona early Saturday morning. Officers were responding to a disturbance call when multiple gunshots were fired, resulting in six people being shot, including the two police officers. The fallen officer has been identified as Officer Joshua Briese, who had been with the Gila River Police Department for less than a year. One civilian also died at the scene, and the remaining three civilians and one officer were hospitalized.
