China's electronics manufacturing industry grew robustly in the first four months of 2021, with major companies' combined profits soaring 75.8% year-on-year to 144.2 billion yuan, and operating revenue reaching 4.67 trillion yuan, up 7.9% year-on-year. The growth is attributed to increased production and recovering domestic and global demand. China exported 44.01 million units of laptops and 241 million units of mobile phones during this period, rising 9.6% and 4.6% respectively.
