Google is investing $2 billion to build its first data center and Google Cloud hub in Malaysia, adding $3.2 billion to the economy and creating 26,500 jobs by 2030, according to the Malaysian government. The new hubs, situated at a business park in Selangor state, will serve large enterprises, startups, and the public sector, while also facilitating AI literacy programs for Malaysian students and educators.
