25-year-old woman scammed out of money in tarot card reading scam involving Western Union in Columbia.

25-year-old woman reported to police that she was scammed out of money after engaging in conversations about tarot card readings with people in Columbia. She was told to send money via Western Union or a "spell" would be cast upon her family. The Wilkes-Barre Police Department confirmed the incident in a news release.
