The inaugural Kariba Carnival, from May 30–June 1, 2024, at Zimbabwe's Lake Harvest Sports Club, aims to promote culture, arts, and tourism. Co-organized by Samanyanga Village and Platinum FM, the carnival expects thousands of attendees from Zambia, South Africa, and other countries. It will showcase local Tonga, Shangwe, and Korekore cultures, helping boost tourism in Kariba.
