The WNBA's Commissioner's Cup, an in-season tournament, starts this week with a new format. Teams will play five games against conference opponents in a two-week period, compared to the previous home-and-home set against every team in their conference. The championship game will take place on June 25th at the home of the team with the best overall record. New York, Las Vegas, and Washington face difficult schedules, playing five games in a short span of time. The winning team will earn $30,000 per player, with an additional $5,000 for the MVP.
