CD Projekt Red has officially ended development on Cyberpunk 2077, with no developers currently working on the game. The studio is now focusing on Project Orion, a sequel to Cyberpunk, and Project Polaris, the next Witcher game built using Unreal Engine 5. Cyberpunk 2077 had an infamous launch in 2020, with numerous bugs and performance issues, but has since seen improvements and a shift in positive reception.
