13 proposals received for floating solar farms in Maltese waters, as part of the Regulator for Energy and Water Services' (REWS) market consultation exercise. The submissions, received from local and international operators, reflect Malta's potential for green energy. The first potential site is four nautical miles off the coast of Delimara, with a 50 MW capacity for renewable energy production.
