Malawian mobile network operator TNM Plc invests MK4 billion to restore internet services affected by cuts to under-sea fibre cables in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean. Cuts in the cables, partly due to warfare in the Middle East since February, affected over 80 million customers in East Africa, and TNM's engineers managed to fix the issue in a record three days. The disruption cost TNM plc K1 billion in potential revenue.
