24-year-old homeless shearer, Becki Ann Cummings, pleaded guilty to break and enter, and stealing property less than $60,000, including firearms, in Orange Local Court on May 8. Cummings and two co-accused were involved in the theft from an isolated rural property with a two-kilometre driveway, shearing shed, sheep yards, and machinery shed. The stolen items included three registered firearms, three unregistered firearms, ammunition, and other equipment. The stolen weapons were not recovered.
