1 person died, and another was charged after a car crash on I-85 in Durham. Eduardo Garcia, 23, lost control of his 2018 Jeep Wrangler, causing it to flip multiple times. Passenger Kevin Bautista-Felicitos, 21, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia was charged with misdemeanor death by careless and reckless driving. The crash shut down I-85 southbound for about four hours before reopening.
