On Saturday, a person climbed New York City's George Washington Bridge, causing nearly two hours of traffic delays. The unidentified man eventually surrendered to NYC police several hours later and was taken to Columbia Presbyterian hospital for evaluation. The incident began when the man started climbing the south side of the Manhattan tower of the bridge just before noon, leading to a police vehicle and emergency service presence on the bridge.
