Canmore council has reduced downtown parking rates by $1 on weekdays, making it $3 for parking Monday to Thursday. Coun. Wade Graham, who brought forward the motion, believes last year's paid parking increase for weekends was necessary, but thought the weekday use didn't justify the increase.
