Hong Kong and France signed an MOU on film and TV cooperation during the 77th Cannes Film Festival, marking closer ties. The agreement aims to boost collaboration, cultural exchanges, and co-produced films. Hong Kong also launched the Hong Kong-Europe-Asian Film Collaboration Funding Scheme, backed by the Film Development Council. The scheme supports up to eight eligible projects with $1.15M grants and encourages international film collaborations.
