Ex-St Kilda defender Sam Fisher sentenced to over five years in prison.
Former AFL star Sam Fisher was sentenced to more than five years in prison after admitting to drug trafficking. Fisher, a 41-year-old ex-St Kilda defender, pleaded guilty to six drug offences, including trafficking a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, and 1,4-Butanediol, as well as three counts of drug possession. In May 2022, Fisher was arrested for trafficking 996g of methamphetamine and 82g of cocaine from Melbourne to Western Australia, hidden in a rangehood he picked up from a store in Moorabbin.
