Angela Merkel's memoirs, titled "Freiheit" (Freedom), will be published on Nov 26, three years after her 16-year tenure ended. The 700-page book, co-written with her longtime assistant and adviser, Beate Baumann, will cover her time leading Germany through crises such as the global financial crisis, Europe's debt and migration crises, and the coronavirus pandemic. The book is set to release worldwide in over 30 countries.
