Bungie's Marathon, the precursor to Halo and Destiny, is now available on Steam for free. Originally developed in the 90s, the first game in the trilogy is now playable on PC/Mac platforms, with sequels Marathon 2: Durandal and Marathon Infinity planned for release. The games have been updated with widescreen HUD support, positional audio, and 60+ frames per second interpolation, using the open-source Aleph One engine.
