Spain's Balearic Islands, including popular tourist destinations Mallorca and Ibiza, have imposed an alcohol ban in certain high-tourist areas from 9:30pm to 8am. The ban also covers party boats selling alcohol on board, which are prohibited from getting closer than one nautical mile of the affected zones and cannot pick up or disembark passengers. The measures aim to curb excessive tourism and associated anti-social behavior.
