Ghanaian actress and activist Yvonne Nelson is organising a second "Dumsor Must Stop" vigil on May 25, due to the resurgence of power cuts in Ghana. The vigil at Revolution Square aims to demonstrate frustrations over the unacceptable electricity supply and provide evidence of its debilitating effects to the president. Nelson had previously organised a vigil in 2015 to protest chronic power outages.
