Elon Musk's brain technology company, Neuralink, reported a mechanical issue with the first in-human brain implant device it installed. After the January surgery on patient Noland Arbaugh, some electrode-studded threads retracted from his brain tissue, causing the device not to work properly. Neuralink stated that it addressed the retraction problem through a series of software fixes, resulting in a rapid and sustained improvement in the patient's performance.
