San Manuel Band raises $15,000 for Ohkomi Forensics, aiding missing/murdered Indigenous people.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Youth Advocacy Group raised $15,000 for Ohkomi Forensics, an organization that helps families of missing or murdered Indigenous people. Founded by Ph.D. student Haley Omeasoo of the Hopi Tribe, Ohkomi Forensics provides excavation services and crime scene analyses. The funds will aid in providing justice and healing to Native American communities.
