2 Vestavia Hills officers & a suspect injured in Leeds chase ending in crash. On May 2, a traffic stop attempt on Interstate 459 led to a chase that continued into Leeds, resulting in a crash behind a house on Montevallo Road. The suspect's vehicle, 2 police cars, and an embankment sent the vehicles into a wooded area. All sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The suspect is now in custody, pending charges.
