2 people found dead in St. Catharines home; 1 person in custody, homicide unit investigating.
Two people were found dead in a St. Catharines home on Thursday morning. Niagara police responded to a residence near Queenston and Lorne Streets and discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. One person is currently in custody, and the homicide unit is now conducting the investigation. The cause of death has not been disclosed, and authorities do not believe this was a random act of violence.
