2 West Virginia county commissioners have been removed from office after being arrested for skipping public meetings. A three-judge panel ordered the removal of Jefferson County Commissioners Jennifer Krouse and Tricia Jackson, who were arrested in March for purposefully not attending their duties. The panel found that the commissioners engaged in a pattern of conduct that amounted to the deliberate, wilful, and intentional refusal to perform their duties.
