Grafton Group's Q1 revenue fell 5% to £669.2m due to weaker demand caused by bad weather and macroeconomic concerns. The building materials company, which owns Woodies DIY and Chadwicks, reported like-for-like revenue decline of 4.5%. However, Woodies DIY saw revenue growth despite challenging market conditions. Chadwicks benefitted from an improving trend in volumes and a favourable macroeconomic backdrop.
