Salesforce has reportedly abandoned its plans to acquire data management software firm Informatica, with both parties unable to agree on the terms of the deal. The potential acquisition, which would have been one of Salesforce's largest in recent years, would have allowed the company to integrate Informatica's offerings into its own suite of products and gain access to Informatica's large client base. Informatica's shares closed at $35.19 on the Friday before the news broke, valuing the company at approximately $11.2 billion, including debt.
