21-year-old parents, Fernando Vega and Angelina Belinda Calderon, were charged with two counts each of injury to a child-serious bodily injury, after their 1-month-old twin daughters were found dead in Houston. An autopsy revealed the infants had suffered blunt force trauma, multiple fractures, and malnutrition. The parents claimed to be the last people to see the children alive.
