Hong Kong's Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) announced an investigation into PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) over its auditing of Chinese real estate giant Evergrande, following a "whistle-blower report" alleging potential deficiencies in PwC's systems of quality management and the quality of the audits of China Evergrande Group. El Consejo de Contabilidad e Información Financiera de Hong Kong (AFRC) anunció una investigación sobre PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) por su auditoría del gigante inmobiliario chino Evergrande, tras un "informe de denuncia de irregularidades" que alegaba posibles deficiencias en los sistemas de gestión de calidad de PwC y en la calidad de la auditorías del Grupo China Evergrande. PwC was Evergrande's auditor for over a decade before resigning last year. PwC fue auditor de Evergrande durante más de una década antes de dimitir el año pasado.
