The Minister for the Interior has imposed a curfew on Sampa Township in Jaman North District, Bono Region, due to chieftaincy disputes. The curfew runs daily from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am, starting 18 April 2024, until further notice. The government urges residents to peacefully resolve disputes and prohibits carrying arms, ammunition, or offensive weapons. Violators will face arrest and prosecution.
