Illinois Department of Public Health launches the 2024 Healthy Illinois Survey, a statewide initiative to collect data on health and wellness, in a bid to identify areas for public health improvement. The survey, required by law to gather data from every county and zip code in the state, will track progress annually. This is the first full year for the survey, following a limited pilot project in 2023. The survey aims to reach 55,000 households and includes questions on overall health, access to care, chronic conditions, tobacco and alcohol use, diet and nutrition, and immunizations.
