27-year-old man charged with attempted murder after stabbing Toronto police officer; both suspect and officer in stable condition in hospital. The incident occurred during a call about a person in crisis in the College Street and Lansdowne Avenue area outside a Tim Hortons. The officer was stabbed during an altercation and the suspect was shot. The Special Investigations Unit is investigating the case.
