Father of slain Syracuse officer, Lateef Johnson-Kinsey, received news of his son's death in a text. He rushed to the emergency room, and by the time he arrived, two officers had died, a young city officer and a long-time lieutenant in the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, along with the suspect. A sea of blue officers assembled outside, grieving their fallen colleagues.
