39-year-old April Rollins was fatally shot in Broussard, LA on Sunday. Authorities found her in the 200 block of Longleaf Drive, and she was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The suspect, 44-year-old Ronnie Simon, surrendered to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and was charged with second-degree murder. The Broussard Police Department is investigating the incident.
