A suspected drunk driver collided with a stationary San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) patrol car in the early hours, causing injuries to his two children aged 6 and 10. The father, who was driving under the influence, was arrested on charges of DWI with a child, endangering a child, and intoxication assault. The SAPD officer involved had minor injuries but declined medical attention.
