Former Prime Minister Liz Truss told LBC radio that Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey should resign over his response to her government's 2022 mini-budget. Truss believes elected officials should have a larger role in decisions made by the central bank and its director, Bailey. Truss's tenure lasted only 49 days after her mini-budget led to significant market turmoil.
