The Memphis Fire Department attended to a fire at a Walmart store on Austin Peay Highway on April 14, with assistance from MPD. The fire, which was intentionally set on aisle 18, caused approximately $2 million in damages and was contained by the store's sprinkler system. The Walmart store is expected to remain closed until the end of the week due to smoke and water damage.
