A person was seriously hurt and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing at the Charlotte Speedway Inn and Suites in northeast Charlotte early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred just before 5 a.m. on West Sugar Creek Road. Multiple police vehicles were seen outside the hotel, but it's unclear if anyone was taken into custody or if charges have been brought.
