The Crown Office has launched a Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) into the death of notorious serial killer Peter Tobin, who died in hospital at the age of 76. Tobin was serving a whole-life order for the murders of 23-year-old Angelika Kluk, 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton, and 18-year-old Dinah McNicol. The inquiry aims to establish whether any reasonable precautions could have been taken to prevent his death, which occurred in custody.
