Ghanaian fintech Zeepay secures equity investment for expansion in Africa and the Caribbean.

Ghanaian fintech Zeepay secures equity investment from Africa50, Oikocredit, Injaro, Verdant Capital Hybrid Fund, and I&P to expand operations in Africa and the Caribbean. Zeepay, which facilitates instant settlement of remittances for international money transfer organizations, settled over 10 million transactions worth $3B last year. The investment will support Zeepay's expansion drive and deepen its offering to IMTOs, senders, and recipients of remittances.
