Former US President Donald Trump has filed an appeal to a New York court to reverse his gag order and move his hush money trial out of Manhattan. Trump's lawyers have challenged Manhattan Judge Juan M. Merchan's pretrial rulings, with the trial set to begin next week. Trump's hush money trial is the first of his four criminal indictments, and a judge in the state's mid-level appeals court is set to hold an emergency hearing on the matter.
