Legendary Australian concert promoter Garry Van Egmond, renowned for his work with iconic acts such as AC/DC and Dire Straits, passed away at 82. He was responsible for the sale of over 30 million concert tickets in Australia, including Dire Straits' record-breaking 1986 Brothers In Arms tour that sold over 900,000 tickets. Van Egmond's company, Van Egmond Group, was acquired by TEG in 2020.
