A survey by the International Fact-Checking Network revealed that 137 organizations across 69 countries are under-resourced and under attack, with the most significant challenge being raising funds to sustain operations. Misinformation is rampant, increasing the workload and pressure on fact-checkers as falsehoods escalate during election periods.
