Nigeria's Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has suspended the Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-corruption Commission Chairman, Muhyi Magaji, over allegations of misconduct and breaches of public officer's conduct. Magaji is facing charges that include conflict of interest, false asset declaration, and accepting bribes. The CCT granted a motion for his suspension, directing him to step aside from his position until the case is resolved. The case has been adjourned for hearing on May 7 and 8, 2024.
