Indian expat Ramesh Kannan, a Qatar-based mechanical technician, won AED 10 million (Rs 22.74 crore) in Abu Dhabi's Big Ticket weekly draw before the raffle paused operations on April 1st. Kannan, who has been living in Qatar for 15 years, purchased ticket number 056845 during a buy-two-get-one-free promotion on March 29th. He bought the ticket along with ten friends.
