A fatal crash occurred on A170 Thornton Road near Pickering, North Yorkshire, involving a grey VW Tiguan and a maroon Nissan Qashqai on April 3. The driver of the Nissan Qashqai was pronounced deceased at the scene. The road was closed for several hours, reopening at 8am on April 4. North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, and any relevant information about the incident.
