35-year-old man found dead in southeast Kansas City house fire; cause under investigation.
35-year-old man found dead in a house fire in southeast Kansas City. Firefighters discovered the victim in a hallway near the back of the house, where the main fire was located. The fire was reported at 1:47 a.m. on Hillcrest Road, and the Kansas City Police Bomb and Arson squad is investigating the cause of the fire due to the fatality. The deceased man appeared to have lived alone in the house.
