33-year-old Bay City man shot by resident after breaking into home, armed with a pipe. The incident occurred on Monday at 4:48 p.m. in the 200 block of N. Jefferson Street. The suspect was shot twice in the torso and is in serious but stable condition at a local hospital. The Bay City Department of Public Safety is investigating the case and asking anyone with information to call (989) 892-8571.
