UK's NS&I launches 4.15%/4.07% 3-year fixed-rate savings bonds with £500-£1m investment range.
The UK's National Savings and Investments (NS&I) has launched its new three-year fixed-rate savings bonds, offering 4.15% for the guaranteed growth bonds and 4.07% for the guaranteed income bonds. The bonds can be accessed on the NS&I website, with a minimum investment of £500 and a maximum of £1 million per issue. While the bonds offer full protection with funds being invested back into supporting Britain through government funding, financial experts argue that the interest rates are not attractive enough for most savers.
